At Vastus Wealth Pte. Ltd. (“VW”), our customers are at the heart of our business. Customers rightly expect fair treatment from us and one of the ways we ensure this is by aligning our core values with the Guidelines on Fair Dealing - Board and Senior Management Responsibilities for Delivering Fair Dealing Outcomes to Customers [FAA-G11].

We communicate to our employees and financial adviser representatives (“Wealth Managers”) that fair dealing is a priority for our company and we constantly review our strategy and policies to achieve the fair dealing outcomes.

We are committed to delivering the following 5 Fair Dealing Outcomes to our customers:

  2. VW has competent Wealth Managers who provide customers with quality advice and appropriate recommendations.

  4. Customers receive clear, relevant and timely information to make well-informed financial decisions.
  5. VW listens to customer complaints objectively and handles feedback in an independent, effective and prompt manner.

Creating a customer-centric culture is an important focus for VW. We understand what fair treatment of customers means and are expected to achieve this at all times. We recognise that clear and transparent communication with our customers helps to build trust and mutual understanding, hence we aim to provide straightforward, comprehensive and accurate information in our documents, web pages and all other forms of communications. We adopt a zero tolerance approach to financial crime. Through our policies and procedures, we work to ensure that risks to the business and our customers relating to fraud, money laundering, tax crimes, market abuse and bribery and corruption are adequately controlled.

The products and service recommended by VW are selected, reviewed and endorsed to be suitable for customer’s particular needs, financial objectives and situation. Our Wealth Managers undergo regular trainings and are competent in providing sound advice and quality recommendations to the customers; Clear, relevant and timely information and updates are presented to customers for them to make informed financial decisions; We have a robust and independent process in listening to, and resolving, your concerns and feedback in a prompt manner.

D. Complaints Handling and Resolution

We are committed to deliver quality services and reliable financial advice to you. We strive to uphold the highest standards in our engagement with you. To ensure consistency and quality, we conduct surveys and take feedback or complaints from our clients seriously.

We truly appreciate the time taken by anyone to provide us feedback or to file a complaint and endeavour to attend to them promptly and professionally in a confidential manner.

To demonstrate our accountability, you can find the details on the procedure adopted by us to handle a complaint below. This procedure does not apply to anonymous complaints or complaints against an appointed representative relating to a transaction performed for an accredited investor. If you would like to submit a feedback or to file a complaint, you can do so by writing an email directly to us or walk in to our office at the address provided at the bottom of our website.

1. Fairness and Consistency

To ensure fairness and consistency in carrying out the responsibilities of our complaints handling and resolution procedures, we will assign an independent department staffed with competent employees to review your matter according its scope and nature. In addition, our senior management will be kept informed on all complaints.

2. Timely and Responsible Response

Upon receiving the complaint, we will provide a written acknowledgement via email or letter to the complainant within 2 business days. A complaint received on any day other than a business day or, after the close of business on a business day, will be treated as having been received on the next business day.

A review of the complaint will be conducted and a written response will be provided to you within 20 business days after the date we received the complaint. Should we require additional time beyond the 20 business days to complete the investigation, we will provide you with a written response on the reasons for the delay and will update you accordingly. We appreciate your kind understanding and patience while we investigate your case.

While we strive to deliver a fair and acceptable outcome on the complaint, we understand your right to an independent institution for alternative dispute resolution. If our final resolution is not to your satisfaction, you may approach the Financial Industry Disputes Resolution Centre Ltd (FIDReC) for assistance. FIDReC is an independent body for dispute resolution between financial institutions and consumers. You may find out more details at www.fidrec.com.sg.
