Chris Chan

With almost 25 years of successful track record as a techpreneur, investor, wealth consultant and thought leader, Chris Chan possessed immense depth of industry experience and financial expertise as Founding CEO of Vastus Wealth.

Before helming Vastus Wealth, Chris had previously founded and retired from a highly accomplished wealth consulting group in Singapore with over 80 partners and associates known for their professionalism. He has since devoted himself as a catalyst to drive the professional development and digital transformation in the financial planning industry. As a well respected industry mentor, he has personally impacted tens of thousands of business leaders and financial professionals across Asia in their business growth and personal wealth creation.

He has also contributed numerous articles to various publications and has been frequently invited to speak at various financial institutions and conferences in the region.

Chris founded Vastus Wealth to journey with businesses and families in the discovery, empowerment and transformation of their financial future.

Benny Chan

Throughout his career, Benny has been in the business of impacting lives. In his role as Head of Sales and Business Development at Vastus Wealth, he is focused on building a movement to empower people to be Life-Confident, by achieving Optimal Wealthness through the right financial decisions.

He is committed to doing so with his expansive skills and depth of knowledge gained in the past 15 years in the financial industry, where he held various roles including leading partnership management, affluent-HNW business development and operational planning across Banks, Insurers, and Direct InsureTech firms.

Benjamin Png

Benjamin heads Business Operations at Vastus Wealth. Prior to this, he had spent more than 10 years at an independent financial advisory firm as a Financial Advisory Consultant where he had also managed the operations and external communications.

Benjamin’s passion lies in serving the underprivileged in the community. He started his career in social services, which enabled him to find his purpose in supporting the under-served community of people who are not adequately insured, hence leading to his career as a financial advisory consultant.

Benjamin currently volunteers his time at Caritas Humanitarian Aid and Relief Initiatives (Singapore) Ltd.

Joanna Ong-Ash

Joanna is a communications specialist retained to lead the strategic communications strategy and marketing planning functions for Vastus Wealth out of her communications consultancy, Bravery Communications.

For more than 20 years, Joanna’s communications experience spanned both regional and local roles across local firms as well as MNCs in the financial industry including Aviva, DBS, UOB, American Express and MasterCard Worldwide.

Before helming Bravery Communications, she was the Senior Associate Director of Marketing Communications at AIA, lending her brand communications experience to strategic projects at AIA Group. She also spent 10 years leading the Brand and Corporate Communications function for AIA Singapore where she was focused on developing consistent end-to-end integrated communications strategies that enhanced consumer preference to the brand and delivered sustainable customer value and demand-led profitable growth. She was credited for changing the conversations of the insurance industry when she launched AIA Vitality, the first ever consumer wellness platform led by an insurer in Singapore.

Vince Lee

Vince leads the compliance function at Vastus Wealth. He has over 7 years of experience in various roles across the financial services industry. Vince comes from an accounting background, where he has carried out various financial fraud investigative work for financial institutions and reinsurers around South East Asia.

Over time, Vince transitioned from conducting forensic accounting investigations and audit work to regulatory compliance work for various financial institutions.

He is well versed in financial regulatory reporting requirements, regulatory interpretation, and the implementation of regulations into functional policies and procedures.
